How to Add a Secondary Email to Your User Profile

Step 1: Sign In to Your Account

Log in to your account using your primary email address and password.

Step 2: Go to Your Account Settings

  • Click on your profile picture or username in the top-right corner of the page.
  • Select Account Settings or Profile Settings from the dropdown menu.

Step 3: Navigate to Email Settings

  • In the account settings menu, find and click on Email Preferences or Contact Information.
  • Look for the section labeled Secondary Email or Alternate Email Address.

Step 4: Add Your Secondary Email

  • Click the Add Secondary Email or Add Alternate Email button.
  • Enter the email address you want to add as your secondary contact.
  • Double-check the email address for accuracy to avoid errors.

Step 5: Verify Your Secondary Email

  • After submitting, check the inbox of your secondary email address.
  • Look for a verification email with the subject line Verify Your Secondary Email Address.
  • Open the email and click on the verification link provided.

Step 6: Confirm Addition

  • Once verified, your secondary email will be listed in your profile.
  • You will now receive notifications and recovery options via both your primary and secondary email addresses.
